Inauguration of Rinchen Chholing Monastery

Inaugurated Rinchen Chholing Monastery at Meghidara, Rinchenpong in West Sikkim and offered prayers. Also, had a brief meeting with the members of Gumpa Committee where they placed the following demands and I assured to fulfill them at the earliest. 1. Eatablishment of Buddhist Study Centre at Rinchen Chholing Monastery. 2. Construction of a house for Rinpochee and a hostel for monastery students. 3. Construction of Manikhorlo (Prayer Wheels) at the Gumpa premises. 4. Construction of gate along with carpeting of approach road to the monastery.

I attended the Gorkha Rashtriya Sanghoshti along with Shri Bimal Gurung, GTA Chief Executive, Shri RP Sharma, MP Tezpur, Assam and Shri PD Rai, MP Sikkim at Gorkha Rangmanch Bhawan, Darjeeling.
