Today, on the ceremonious occasion of Losar, the Tibetan New Year, I met and interacted with members of Tibetan community of Sikkim at Mintokgang. I apprised the community that I am working earnestly towards promotion of Buddhist philosophy and an important policy in this regard would soon be framed to protect and promote the interests of Sikkimese Tibetan community. On their invitation, I also agreed to attend the 80th Birthday celebrations of His Holiness Dalai Lama which would be celebrated on 6th July at Chandmari in Gangtok.
