This is an important calendar event where elected representatives of the State come under one roof in order to discuss and deliberate on further strengthening the Panchayatiraj institutions in the State. Attended the concluding day of the two-day session of Sikkim Legislative Assembly. The three Bills which were introduced in the House yesterday were unanimously passed by the House. Obituary reference condoling the untimely demise of Shri Gopal Lamichaney, former Member of Sikkim Legislative Assembly was made and two minutes’ silence was observed by the House as a mark of respect to the departed soul. It was indeed a wonderful moment for me to address the gathering of Party functionaries, youths and the local gentry of West District at ‘Football Tournament-cum-Mass Umbrella Mela, 2018’, held today at Kyongsa Ground, Geyzing.
